Throttling valve

As a key component of the wellhead and manifold, the throttle valve is primarily used to control the flow rate of the wellhead medium. There are two types of throttle valves: adjustable and fixed. Adjustable throttle valves adjust the opening area of the throttle nozzle by rotating a handwheel to move the valve stem forward or backward, thus controlling and regulating the flow rate. Fixed throttle valves, on the other hand, change the cross-sectional area of the flow channel by replacing the throttle nozzle with one of different orifice diameters to control the flow rate.
