High-voltage union

High-pressure unions (also called hammer-driven unions, quick-connect couplings, or oilfield quick couplings), conforming to API 16C standards, are commonly used quick-sealing connectors in oil and gas well fracturing, cementing, acidizing, and high-pressure manifold systems. They are used to connect high-pressure straight pipes, flexible elbows, plug valves, wellhead pipelines, and other equipment. High-pressure sealing is achieved through hammering, offering convenient assembly and disassembly, strong pressure resistance, and serving as a fundamental connecting element for high-pressure fluid pipelines. Main functions:
1. Quick sealing connection for high-pressure pipelines: Enables rapid connection of two high-pressure pipeline sections, withstanding large-volume fracturing and instantaneous high-pressure impacts, preventing leakage of sand-laden high-pressure fluids, and ensuring safety during high-pressure operations.
2. Rapid on-site assembly and disassembly, improving construction efficiency: Eliminates the need for cumbersome flange bolt tightening; a sledgehammer is used to strike the wing nut to lock the seal. This allows for rapid pipeline inspection and disassembly, suitable for frequent disassembly and assembly scenarios at the well site.
3. Angle compensation: The spherical sealing structure of the union allows for slight angular deviations, compensating for minor misalignments during pipeline installation and reducing the difficulty of pipeline alignment. 4. Unified and standardized interface interchange: FIG series unions are industry-standard parts, and the same model from different manufacturers can be interchanged, which is highly versatile and facilitates the allocation of spare parts on site.
