Stopcock

1. Purpose

The plug valve is a manual control valve for opening and closing the pipe string circulation system. It is normally used to prevent blowouts during workover operations and can quickly close the liquid circulating in the pipe string to achieve the purpose of safe production.

2. Structure

The plug valve is composed of upper and lower joint bodies, upper and lower valve seats, spheres and rotary switches, sealing rings, springs and compression caps.

The opening and closing is achieved by rotating the signs 01 and F corresponding to the hexagon on the outer surface.

3. Features

The plug valve seat and the ball are made of stainless steel through a special process, which changes the way of sealing with a sealing ring.

Suitable for frequent operation, rapid opening and closing, light weight, low fluid resistance, simple structure, good sealing performance, small rotating torque, high pressure, small size, light weight, and convenient maintenance.
